During the Second Season, there was a lot of unfortunate bickering among stubborn Producers and unhappy Screenwriters and it began to effects Talk Show with Spike Feresten Show which in turn, dramatically slows Production to a crawl.

Because of this Strike, Mary Mae had only one show appearance during this Season. Spike's Second Season had a satirical segment where , the Show Host is catching his Wife, Erica running an adult chat site from home and intentionally exploiting E-Commerce.

Talkshow With Spike Feresten Show's Epilogue:

On the May 5th, 2009 Variety: Fox has decided not to bring back its Saturday late night franchise Talk Show With Spike Feresten for a fourth season, meaning the network will start fresh on Saturday nights this fall.

Mary Mae participates in an hysterical parody skit poking fun of Dr, Phil's Viewer Mail. Then, Spike will introduce Special Guests Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim from Good Job and The Cartoon Network's Tom Goes To The Mayor.

The network had already announced the end of the long-running sketch comedy show MadTV, which ran from 11pm-midnight Saturdays before Talk Show aired for a half-hour at midnight.

Fox's Saturday late night lineup this fall will lead off with a new hour-long show at 11 featuring Wanda Sykes, as first reported by B&C in March. Plans for the 30-minute slot at midnight are still being formulated, with a comedy repeat one possibility.
